Patricia DeAngelis is a family nurse practitioner who specializes in functional medicine. Functional medicine looks at the body and mind using the patient’s history, lab testing, physical exams as needed, and the use of nutrition, supplements and remedies to address the underlying causes of disease.
Patricia received her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Rush University in 1988 and her Master’s of Science in Nursing in 2018 from Olivet Nazarene University. She studied functional medicine at the Institute for Functional Medicine.
Some of her areas of expertise include cardiometabolic, digestion, thyroid, autoimmune, arthritis, allergies, asthma, hormone imbalances, and natural options for chronic pain.
In her spare time, Patricia enjoys time with her family, yoga, the great outdoors, and the performing arts. She believes mind-body-life balance is essential to achieving good health.
