Many people are looking for natural products to help them sleep. Recently, I learned a couple of interesting ideas that I want to pass along to you.
Everyone has heard of it. Did you know it might not be effective if taken at night? Actually, studies show that its more effective if taken earlier in the day because at night, your naturally produced melatonin may have already saturated the receptor sites so the added melatonin does no good. They suggest 1-3 milligrams in the late afternoon.
In studies, some held the vials of lavender on their chests and others inhaled the oil as aromatherapy which produced consistent results. Such a lovely aroma.
